Ceske Budejovice

Located in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, České Budějovice is situated 120km from Prague, allowing comfortable travelling from the whole Czech Republic and central Europe. With its remarkable square, the 16th Century Black Tower or even the 13th Dominican convent, its historical centre is a great example of architecture from the Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and 19th century periods. The city of České Budějovice and the surrounding areas give a great overview of what the Czech Republic has to offer. It is famous for its breweries (Budweiser Budvar), and is also located right next to Český Krumlov (designated UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architecture) and the Šumava National Park (UNESCO biosphere reserve).
